CCC Tour Program

Chandler Children’s Choir offers a progressive tour program for its four choirs. Participating in tours is an important part of the choir experience. Touring fosters growth as a choir, raises the level of performing together and encourages independence. Touring also provides the opportunity for new audiences to hear our choir. We encourage you to explore our past and current tour opportunities.

  • We have designed the Junior Tour Program to introduce the singers and their families to the concept of going on tour, in preparation for the larger, more complex tours they will encounter as they promote up through our program.

    This year, the Junior Choir will be taking a day trip to Tucson, Arizona. While there, we will attend a workshop with the Tucson Girl’s Chorus and visit the Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium.

    Previous Junior Choir tours have included: Matilda on Broadway at Gammage Theater, Aladdin on Broadway at Gammage Theater, the Musical Instrument Museum, Organ Stop Pizza, The Hobbit, Phoenix Symphony, and performances at multiple locations.

  • We have designed the Encore Tour Program to allow singers and their families to experience all aspects of touring, from fundraising to being away from home and participating in arts enhancement programs.

    This year’s tour is in the Los Angeles area, where we will have a choir exchange with the highly esteemed LA Children’s Chorus, spend a day at Disneyland, visit the beach, and perform. March 7-9, 2025

    Encore Choir has traveled to Anaheim, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Santa Fe.

  • We have designed the highest level of our tour program to increase choir members’ skill levels and performances together in ways that cannot be accomplished within the confines of rehearsal time. Singers will also participate in amazing performing opportunities, experience the arts from different world views, find art in its many forms beyond choral music, and expand boundaries outside local influences.

    This year will see Cantus and Ad Astra travel to Italy! We will be visiting Venice, Perugia, Siena, and Rome. We will performing at a mass in St. Peter’s Basilica and a special mass celebrating famous composer, Palestrina. We are honored to participate in this Jubilee year celebration.

    The Cantus Choir has traveled both within the United States and internationally. Previous tour locations include: San Francisco, Salt Lake City, New York City, Chicago, Washington D.C, Vancouver, Canada, Ireland, and England.
