The Chandler Children's Choir, is a place where your children can learn the foundations of singing in a choir setting. Our first three seasons have been fantastic, singing music from the masters (Brahms, Handel, Britten), as well as folk tunes; a capella, and with piano and instrumental accompaniment; unison and in harmony.

Learning to sing is the basis for all musical development. Our singers learn to match pitch, listen for intonation, blend with other voices, and are exposed to a variety of wonderful music. Additionally, your child will have the opportunity to perform in a number of formal and informal settings throughout the year.

Our program consists of four choirs:

Junior Choir - Ages 7-9 Rehearse 4-5:00 pm Thursdays
Encore Choir - Ages 10-12 Rehearse 5:10-6:10 pm Thursday
Cantus Choir - Ages 11/12-16 Rehearse 6:20-7:50 pm Thursday
Chamber Choir - A subset of Cantus choir that will sing a cappella songs and rehearse during the second half of practice): Top oldest 8-12 singers

Fees:

$25 Registration Fee (non-refundable)
Junior Choir: $400/year*
Encore Choir: $425/year*
Cantus/Chamber Choirs: $475/year*

*Can be paid in August or in installments over the season. 1/2 this amount if beginning in January

10% sibling discount

Performance Uniforms will be an additional cost of around $90.
